How You’ll Make an Impact

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Head to lead our EAD business in region China. This role comes with overall P&L responsibility and requires a strategic leader who can define and execute the regional business strategy while driving growth and profitability across various industries, including Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Process Industries, and Maritime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L Leadership:Assume full P&L responsibility for the China region, driving business performance and defining strategic direction for the EAD business.
  • Industry Expertise:Leverage deep industry knowledge in Maritime, Offshore (FPSO) Onshore, Fiber Industries, Metals, Mining and Cement to identify market opportunities and drive sales initiatives.
  • Financial Partnership:Collaborate closely with the Finance Head of EAD in the China region to ensure financial alignment and accountability.
  • Strategic Implementation:Drive the execution of the overarching EAD strategy for the China region, ensuring alignment with global objectives and local market needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Foster strong collaboration across the Transformation of Industry unit within Siemens Energy and the EAD organization to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
  • Service and Consulting Acumen:Utilize extensive knowledge in consulting and service industries to enhance service offerings and customer engagement.
  • Global Team Leadership:Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams with global exposure, ensuring alignment and performance across diverse geographies.
  • Partnership Development:Focus on building strategic partnerships with EPCs and electric/automation/digitalization vendors in the region to enhance market presence and service delivery.
  • Customer Representation:Act as the primary representative of EAD towards customers and within the SE China Hub, ensuring strong brand presence and customer satisfaction.
  • Relationship Building:Cultivate and strengthen customer relationships by leveraging existing client contacts across the China region.
  • Global Delivery Collaboration:Work effectively with a global delivery setup to ensure seamless service execution and customer support.
  • Growth and Profitability Focus:Drive growth and profitability across key industries, including Maritime, Oil, Gas& Chemicals as well as process Industries, with a strong emphasis on market expansion and enhancing customer experience.
  • Transformation Leadership:Lead the transformation of the function, focusing on efficient and lean processes, systems, and establishing a robust operational network while continuously developing related procedures.
  • Team Development:Direct, coach, mentor, and support an experienced team to achieve management targets and uphold company values.
  • Leadership Team Membership:Serve as a member of the EAD leadership team, contributing to the overall business unit’s top-line growth and strategic direction.
  • Travel Requirements:Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support business objectives and collaboration with functions in EAD.
