A Snapshot of Your Day


We are looking for a Head of Site Technicians (f/m/d) who will take full responsibility for managing and developing our Site Technicians organization across Germany and Taiwan.

In this senior role, you will oversee more than 200 technicians, ensuring operational excellence, strategic workforce planning, and the continuous improvement of high‑voltage and offshore construction services. You will shape the direction of the department, drive efficiency and quality, and influence key stakeholders at executive level.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Strategic Leadership (50%)

• Lead and develop a large, international technician workforce.
• Manage team leaders/managers and define the 1–3 year departmental strategy.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Advise executive leadership on resources, workforce strategy, and long term planning.
• Oversee high voltage technician strategy across all hubs.

Operational & Financial Management (30%)

• Ensure operational excellence across engineering services.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control.
• Optimize deployment, scheduling, and resource utilization.
• Use operational and market data to support planning and decision making.

Process Improvement & Quality (20%)

• Establish and maintain engineering standards and best practices.
• Drive process improvements and digitalization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, contractual, and industry standards.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for complex issues.

What You Bring

• Degree in Engineering or Business Management.
• Extensive experience leading large technical teams, ideally internationally.
• Proven success managing managers in field service or construction environments.
• Strong background in budgeting, planning, and process improvement.
• Experience in high voltage operations.
• Strong background in budgeting, planning, and process improvement.
• Strong awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to field service and high‑voltage operations.
• Experience collaborating with Works Councils and other internal governance bodies.
• Fluent/very good German and English communication skills.
