A Snapshot of Your Day

Lead sales in Latin American territories, grow New Unit business to meet goals. You will lead a high-performing, customer-focused organization, with team members located across various Latin America countries. Demonstrating your market, customer, and business model expertise, you and your team will be accountable for the early development. Additionally, will assist additional sales groups until successful contract closure.re. In this role, you will report to our Head of New Unit Sales Latin America, Gas Services.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Regional Sales Leadership: Lead Business Development and Regional Sales for Latin America, developing tailored winning strategies for each opportunity with deep market knowledge.
  • Market Analysis & Regulations: Analyze regional market dynamics, industrial trends, government regulations, customer needs, pricing, and competitors to derive successful sales strategies.
  • Business Opportunity Development: Identify business needs, market potential, and innovative business models for mid and long-term success in the energy sector.
  • Co-creation & Collaborator Engagement: Encourage co-creation capabilities for project development with customers and governmental collaborators, analyzing governmental requirements.
  • Team Management & Development: Coach, mentor, and consult the regional sales team, ensuring workforce stability, knowledge transfer, and high performance continuity aligned with Siemens Energy leadership essentials.
  • Engage in proactive cross-country coordination and connect with internal participants across the organization to address current and emerging customer challenges and accomplish business goals.

What You Bring

  • Highly experienced sales professional with commanding knowledge in the energy and oil & gas sector in Latin America.
  • Upbeat to travel abroad most of the time, and willingness to travel internationally at short notice
  • Encourage a collaborative attitude and promote this approach within your entire team;
  • Proficient in engaging with other sales teams and local SE customers, to align and promote strategies towards LA countries and/or vertical markets
  • In charge of overseeing the sales strategic plan within the Latin American territory: short-mid-long term
  • Ideally, an already established energy community network within the Latin American territory
  • Technical and contractual knowledge of sophisticated power projects (e.g. turnkey /consortium projects) combined with experience from PM/Engineering
  • Shown achievement in leading projects by possessing a detailed understanding of argument construction and funding
  • Guide in sales opportunity development incl. winning strategy, negotiation guidance and with experience in diverse business environments
  • High-reaching spirit, strong strategic understanding to translate customer requirements into appropriate solutions
  • High or equivalent experience in problem-solving abilities and excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Shown abilities in inspiring change and constructing resilient teams; familiarity with an intercultural working and team environment within a cross-regional setup
  • Ability to inspire, empower and motivate
