A Snapshot of Your Day


Join us as the Head of Productivity Improvement Programs, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Reporting directly to the Head of Large Generators, you will strategically manage three key departments: Training, Business Excellence, and Cost Out Programs. In this collaborative role, you will work closely with department managers and senior leaders across the organization to ensure that all initiatives, including Manufacturing Processes & Governance, align with our company objectives, foster continuous improvement, and deliver measurable results. You will utilize your strategic thinking to navigate complex challenges, drive results through a strong focus on outcomes, and lead your team with a collaborative spirit. Your financial acumen will guide cost-saving initiatives, while your adaptability will help you thrive in a dynamic environment. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Department Leadership: Oversee the Training, Business Excellence, and Cost Out Programs, providing clear direction and strategic vision while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate closely with the Operational Excellence lead and Large Generator Manufacturing teams on Manufacturing Processes & Governance initiatives.
  • Training Management: Lead the design and delivery of training programs that enhance employee skills, support operational excellence, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
  • Business Excellence Optimization: Analyze and standardize Business Processes and Data Analytics to increase efficiency, improve productivity, and enhance output quality.
  • Cost Out Initiatives: Direct cost reduction programs for Large Generators & Combustion products, identifying savings opportunities and negotiating with stakeholders to ensure sustainable financial benefits.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other departments and senior leaders to align and support productivity improvement initiatives, interfacing proactively with Finance during transfer price updates.
  • Data Maintenance and Reporting: Ensure data quality and maintenance of LGN cost out initiatives in the Prioneer and OPW databases, providing monthly updates and aligning with other Gas Services Central Productivity Improvement organizations.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish metrics and reporting systems to track progress, evaluate outcomes, and communicate results to executive management.
  • Change Management: Drive change management initiatives while maximizing material continuity across our product portfolio, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout implementation phases.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management (master’s preferred).
  • 7 or more years of experience in operational leadership, productivity improvement, or process optimization; candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with change management and organizational development.
  • Knowledge of Generator & Combustion products is a plus.
  • Occasional travel will be required to all sites or for industry benchmarking and training purposes.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
