A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Head of Supply Chain Management Asia Pacific Indonesia, you will lead the supply chain team that implements procurement and logistic strategy, standards & guidelines from global and hub in areas of responsibilities, and drive the digital transformation in the function in the country.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• In your new role you deploy procurement and logistic strategy according to the Global and Hub strategy.
• You lead all related team leaders and act as a role model. You proactively lead the organizational transformation and workforce, especially regarding digitalization, value chain orchestration end-to-end, diversity and required skill set.
• In addition, you ensure implementation of procurement standards, regulations and guidelines on company level while taking into consideration of business units practices.
• You contribute to company, global and hub’s business success project by driving the initiative in your area of responsibility and collaborate in a proactive way with the entire organization especially with Functions and Business Units.
• You are responsible for PVO, CNI and cost of organization as well as for the indirect material procurement part of the company with focus on costs, on-time delivery and quality.
• To support the digital product transformation within Siemens Energy through new ways of supplier collaboration and new procurement capabilities, you drive the development of procurement functions towards the next generation.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or similar required.
• You have at least 10+ years of experience in at least two of the following SCM roles: buying professional, commodity manager, procurement team leader in project, product or solution business, procurement digitalization (initiative leader) or cost and value engineering.
• You have 5+ years of leadership experience.
• You have made at least one cross-functional or one cross-business move as well as have coordinated the procurement eco system by developing platforms, implementing flexible processes, structuring digital transformation and master complexity in a dynamic environment.
• You are experienced in coaching agile teams by responding to changing requirements quickly and flexibly while overseeing the entire value chain and building the foundation for innovations.
• You have experience in leading in the digital age and to push your team to continuously challenge the status quo; you drive and foster innovation, have a clear understanding of the digital vision and actively spread it.
• You possess excellent English communication skills which enable you to work effectively in the international environment.
• You are willing to travel up to 30 %.
• You are a cultural architect who stays up to date with digital trends and boosts others’ digital engagement by involving and mobilizing them.
• You enjoy continuous change and learning by putting those visions into practice by breaking them down into specific actions.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in Indonesia without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
