Location: Taipei, with 50% business trip in Taiwan
Function: Project Management

As head of project management you will lead a diverse team of project managers and guide them in order to achieve project execution targets relating to EHS, revenue and profit, quality, project timelines and customer satisfaction. As an enthusiastic leader you will develop your team as well as drive process improvements ensuring highest execution effectiveness.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Preparation and planning of projects considering effective resource allocation and team productivity
Improvement of project management processes and adaptation of organizational set-up to ensure execution effectiveness.
Develop and implement a comprehensive contract execution strategy, covering risk management, opportunity identification, and claim management
First escalation level for individual project issues (failures, delays, NCC, etc)
Lead change orders and claims resolution effort (preparation, presentation, and negotiation) in collaboration with project managers and legal.
Provide coaching to team members and development of talents within the organization
Transparent project reporting to management together with commercial counter part on project progress, technical & financial performance, project issues

What You Bring
University degree in a technical field, such as industrial, mechanical, electrical engineering, or similar, or equivalent technical training complemented by extensive professional experience
Professional experience in project management, sales or contract management
Knowledge and skills in project management, ideally certified from IPMA, PMI, or PM@Siemens
You feel comfortable in negotiating with customers on though topics
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong passion for leadership
Business proficiency in English. Knowledge of German and/or other languages is advantageous
You may need to travel occasionally, adapting to project priorities and effectively managing your schedule and task prioritization
