- Define and implement GSM strategy aligned with Siemens Energy’s project execution framework and applicable standards
- Establish maintain and foster standardized processes for site execution, including but not limited to planning, mobilization and demobilization
- Drive innovation in site management practices and digitalization initiatives. Foster lessons learnt and good practice sharing
- Oversee preparation and execution of construction, installation, commissioning, and acceptance phases
- Ensure robust segregation of work zones and enforce “Zone it / Own it” principles for safety and accountability
- Monitor risk profiles using tools like Heat Maps and RAMS boards to prevent incidents
- Act as the primary interface between Siemens Energy stakeholders and ensure sites are lead considering external partners like customers, consortium partners, and subcontractors
- Represent GSM in cross-functional meetings and strategic planning sessions
- Ensure transparent communication of risks, opportunities, and lessons learned across projects and through all stages of the project
- Enforce Siemens Energy’s Zero Harm philosophy and EHS regulations on all sites
- Ensure contractual compliance and alignment with global standards for HVDC and other energy infrastructure projects
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of Site Managers and GSM personnel
- Empower teams through training and mentoring, fostering a culture of safety, ownership and continuous improvement
- Ensure transparent communication throughout the project, on project status, risks, opportunities and other project impacts
What You Bring
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline; advanced certifications preferred
- Proven track record in people management, building high performing teams and driving change supported by strong networking ability, Communication and strong stakeholder management skills
- Long term experience in site and project management for large-scale EPC projects in energy or industrial sectors
- Eager and curious to learn and actively seek feedback impulses from inside and outside the Organization
- Ability to live and foster team cultures
- Deep understanding of project execution with site focus including contract, risk mitigation, and cost control
- Experience w/ working across various functions within a multi-national Corporation
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally
