A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for an experienced Head of Subsea Operation EAD to drive & implement the Global Manufacturing Network within the EAD global function: Manufacturing & Procurement and to lead & manage several functions: Application Engineering & Development, Production/Assembly, Order- & Quality-Management. The existing facilities are based in UK, Norway and USA, mainly in an ‘engineer-to-order' project-business environment, delivering products/solutions into EAD’s businesses in Oil, Gas & Chemicals.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Overseeing the design, development & production of Subsea products & solutions (Sensors & Connectors) and components, ensuring meeting customer requirements in regards of performance, safety, reliability and cost.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for EAD Manufacturing Subsea in alignment with the overall goals of EAD Manufactuaring & Procurement strategy & organization.
  • Implementation & synchronization of global SOP (standard operations procedures) for planning-, forecasting- & production-processes.
  • Establishing, optimizing and maintaining highest EHS- & quality-standards to secure full compliance to Siemens Energy & law regulations.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
  • Governance & securing state-of-the-art engineering, project management and order management processes & tools
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams from Sales, Product Portfolio Management & Global Customer Operations to integrate Subsea products & solutions into larger systems and customer projects.
  • You direct, coach, mentor, support & develop an experienced global team to work together and ensure management targets and company values

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles, preferrable within Industrial- / engineer-to-order-environment
  • Solid experience in mechanical and electronics production processes and respective requirements toward EHS, quality and performance.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing SOP (Standard operational procedures), continuous improvement programs, performance driven transparency & traceability.
  • Experiences of modern manufacturing principles e.g. LEAN, Kaizen, World Class Manufacturing or similar.
  • Exceptional conceptual and analytical thinking, strategic & operational implementation and ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of guiding & developing global teams
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related fields
  • Proficient in English, with additional language skills considered a plus
  • Regular national / International travel required (20-40%)
