- Managing an engineering team of 20 employees focused on HVDC control technology, coordinating personnel planning, and facilitating team development
- Monitoring and managing team performance across international projects, ensuring alignment to cost, time, and quality parameters.
- Deploying and training employees from collaborating HUBs, CoCs, and CoEs worldwide.
- Conceptualizing and outlining control technology for high-voltage direct current transmission systems, collaborating on future innovative solutions with relevant departments.
- Project management responsibilities including internal and external concept clarification, customer engagement, support for software development, documentation, testing, and commissioning of HVDC systems.
- Coordination of concept clarification, offer documentation, and cost calculation for proposals.
- Successfully completed university degree in electrical engineering, with a specialization in energy technology, accompanied by extensive professional experience.
- Proven experience in leading teams and in project planning and testing of control technology systems.
- Strong understanding of converter and high-voltage technology, along with comprehensive knowledge of control technology and proficiency in HVDC system technology, automation, protection, and control technology.
- Interpersonal skills to navigate customer interactions and negotiations effectively.
- Willingness to travel for customer engagements and after-sales operations.
- Full professional proficiency in English, German proficiency is a plus
