À propos de la fonction
A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our Development Denmark team in a role focused on validating and qualifying grid measurement systems used in wind park control applications. Your day may start in the laboratory testing Elspec G4K/G4N grid meters, evaluating measurement accuracy and communication performance under different operating conditions. You will work hands-on with measurement hardware, analyze complex datasets, and develop automated test solutions using Python and MATLAB.
Working closely with engineering, cybersecurity, SCADA, and supplier teams, you will help ensure that grid measurement systems meet performance, reliability, and security requirements. Your work will directly contribute to supplier evaluations and the successful integration of measurement technologies within wind power plant control solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Validate and evaluate grid measurement devices used in wind park control systems, with a primary focus on Elspec G4K/G4N meters, supporting supplier qualification and technology assessments.
- Design, execute, and automate test campaigns using Python and/or MATLAB, including integration with Omicron signal generators, measurement equipment, data acquisition systems, and structured CI/CD testing frameworks.
- Troubleshoot measurement hardware, communication interfaces, and laboratory test setups to identify, analyze, and resolve performance issues.
- Analyze measurement data from devices, SCADA systems, and SQL databases, transforming results into clear technical insights, reports, visualizations, and recommendations that support engineering decisions.
- Verify secure communication and cybersecurity requirements, including protocols such as Modbus/TLS and Syslog/TLS, certificate-based authentication, secure onboarding, logging and telemetry capabilities, and compliance with IEC 62443 and emerging Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, combined with relevant professional engineering experience.
- Experience working with electrical measurement systems, power systems, data acquisition equipment, or similar industrial technologies, including structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for test automation, data analysis, and software development, with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, cybersecurity principles, and secure system integration, including areas such as PKI certificates, authentication mechanisms, secure communication interfaces, or IEC 62443-based environments.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Experience with CI/CD practices, agile development methodologies, C#, and/or C++ is considered an advantage.
About the Team
You will join the Development Denmark team, where engineers collaborate to validate grid measurement systems used in wind park control and power plant environments. The team combines hands-on laboratory testing with advanced data analysis to assess performance, troubleshoot technical challenges, and support supplier evaluations.
Knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and open collaboration are an integral part of the team's way of working. While the role offers a high degree of ownership and independent responsibility, you will be supported by experienced colleagues who work together to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver trusted measurement solutions.
