A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team where you will perform a wide variety of fitting, inspection, repair, and assembly/disassembly operations on gas turbine rotors and related components. Imagine executing precision blending and detailing, along with blast and part preparation, while engaging in specialized blading activities to ensure all assemblies meet engineering specifications. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and performance of our gas turbines, contributing to a sustainable energy future.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Execute complex assembly and disassembly sequences on turbine rotors and associated hardware.
  • Perform precision fitting, inspection, and repair operations to identify and resolve component discrepancies.
  • Conduct part preparation activities, including blasting, cleaning, and surface detailing.
  • Perform critical blading operations, ensuring proper seating and alignment of components.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and ensure product integrity.
  • Interpret and execute work scopes based on technical drawings and engineering specifications.

What You Bring

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required along with a minimum of 1–3 years of experience working with industrial-mechanical equipment.
  • Proven proficiency in using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
  • Experience applying basic shop math to perform critical stack-up calculations.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong familiarity with industrial safety protocols and manufacturing best practices.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Crane and Forklift Licenses.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to obtain an ACT® WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver Level or higher) as part of the pre-hire assessment. Siemens Energy will assist in scheduling the test upon shortlisting.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
