A Snapshot of Your Day 

This position is an additional headcount requested to ensure business continuity and provide critical support for upcoming major projects within the Gas Services division in China. The role is essential for managing new contracts, planned inspections, and large-scale outages primarily on steam turbine and generator, mitigating risks associated with project delivery and personnel changes. To address these objectives, this role focuses on three core areas: comprehensive, full-cycle project execution for complex energy service projects; proactive risk management and stakeholder coordination across regional teams; and supporting commercial activities and business development in the open market. 


How You’ll Make an Impact 

50% Full-Cycle Project Execution & Delivery

• Plan, execute, and close complex service projects, including medium inspections and major outages, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, resource plans, and budgets using standard project management methodologies and tools.

• Organize and lead cross-functional project teams, assigning responsibilities and driving progress to meet key milestones.

• Oversee all project documentation, including progress reports, financial tracking, and closure documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

30% Risk Management & Stakeholder Coordination

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing contingency plans to resolve obstacles and prevent delays.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, managing communications and aligning expectations.

• Facilitate synergy and collaboration with global project teams to optimize resource allocation and project backup.

20% Commercial & Business Development Support

• Support sales activities by providing project management expertise and input for proposals and new contract bids in the open market and lead Sales activities in open market 

• Manage project financials, including customer invoicing, billing, and cost forecasting, to ensure project profitability.

• Identify potential new business opportunities with existing and new customers based on project execution insights and relationships.


What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.

• Above 5 years in project management, preferably within the power generation or industrial service industry. 

• A proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk, combined with strong leadership and communication skills.

• Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of complex, large-scale technical projects.

• Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Sales mindset and experience is a plus with Structure and can do spirit.

• Fluent english speaking .

• Willing to travel to Hongkong and Macau.
