A Snapshot of Your Day
Step into a role where your expertise shapes the fluid systems of industrial gas turbines at Siemens Energy. Imagine designing and optimizing systems like gas fuel, fuel oil, lube oil, cooling and sealing air, and compressor wash systems—ensuring compliance with China codes and global standards. Your day will be a mix of creating detailed engineering drawings, collaborating with suppliers, and solving manufacturing challenges. Whether you're developing new components, inspecting equipment, or supporting installation teams, every action you take drives innovation, sustainability, and excellence in fluid system design and execution.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Design and Innovate: Develop fluid systems tailored to the China market, ensuring compliance with local codes and Siemens Energy’s global standards.
• Collaborate: Work with suppliers to introduce new components, optimize scopes, and continuously improve product quality and efficiency.
• Lead Execution: Configure systems to meet project needs, produce detailed engineering drawings like P&IDs and part lists, and prepare specifications for ordering components.
• Ensure Quality: Attend functional acceptance tests at vendor factories, inspect equipment, and provide design inputs to customers and internal teams.
• Support Installation: Partner with commissioning teams, both on-site and remotely, to ensure seamless integration and operation of fluid systems.
What You Bring
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in process engineering, ideally with a focus on power generation.
• At least 3 years of experience in process engineering, including design and analysis of fluid systems like lube oil, hydraulic oil, and gas fuel systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer focus skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, with excellent communication skills to interface with diverse teams and organizations.
• Preferred experience in process engineering departments, gas turbine OEMs, or fluid system manufacturers.
