Your profile

  • A graduate degree or equivalent experience related to Engineering or other Technical Field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience in a technical environment
  • Experience with execution of project management activities associated with construction and commissioning or experience with maintenance operations. Mechanical and/or Electrical qualification and experience with rotating equipment is helpful. Candidates with different qualifications' experience will be considered.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Project or other Project Management software
  • Must have fluency in English and capable to communicate with our Global Operations community
  • Global attitude. Strong intercultural sensitivity and ability to work with teams and collaborators around the globe
  • Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment and demonstrate ownership of tasks.
  • Positive can-do attitude and ability to work in an environment with competing demands which requires prioritisation of activities
  • Legally permitted to work and resident in South Korea
  • Fluent in Korean
  • Candidate must have valid driver’s license and vehicle to be able to travel to our customer sites
  • This position is office based with travel to customers sites for meetings, outage coordination activities and occasional deployments with our FS team in a PM role in peak periods.


Your responsibilities

  • An FS Planner is involved will all activities in estimating, quoting, planning and scheduling Field Service activities and resources in relation to outages on Rotating Equipment that we service. This can include Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Generator equipment
  • The FS Planner is expected to review contract scope and other user documentation to establish the required and optional work scope for a maintenance outage.
  • The FS Planner will talk to Siemens Engineering, Internal Customers, and Resource Managers to plan and coordinate outage activities.
  • The FS Planner shall develop an outage plan in a logical sequence, identifying and schedules resources as required to meet outage constraints.
  • The FS Planner shall attend customer meetings to discuss and present outage scope of work, including proposals associated with optional scope.
  • The FS Planner will work with our sub-contractor supply base to plan and secure resources as needed to complete planned outage activities.
  • Identify and coordinate resource dispatch with our Back Office team for both Inbound to Korea and Outbound dispatch of FS personnel elsewhere in the Region or globally.
  • Planning support will be provided for outages occurring in Korea and supporting activities elsewhere in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Support development of sub-contractor resources including establishment of Frame Agreements, collecting evaluation feedback on sub-contractor performance, search and identification of new suppliers, etc.
  • This is primarily an Office based position split between our main office in Seoul, our facilities in Hwaseong, with travel for customer meetings and occasional deployment to customer sites to support outage execution activities.
