A Snapshot of Your Day

Siemens Energy is looking for a Field Service Manager to oversee the overall management of resource delegation for running contracts. In this role, you will ensure effective coordination with customers regarding ongoing contracts, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication to meet their needs. You will be responsible for optimizing resource allocation and managing the execution of services to ensure contract compliance and customer satisfaction. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage all Preventive Maintenance Contracts and oversee on-site activities related to GIS installation, commissioning, repair, and modification of High Voltage Switchgear.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and various site groups to ensure smooth team operations, adherence to project schedules, and overall productivity.
  • Effectively plan resources and develop systems/tools to collect data from substations/assets for record maintenance, spare parts business development, and lead generation for value-added services.
  • Provide emergency troubleshooting support and adhere to Siemens Energy processes, quality standards, and HSE standards with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach.
  • Prepare project schedules, method statements, resource plans, and forecasts while striving for improved quality and reduced non-conformance costs through root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Foster an inclusive and diverse work environment, develop GIS personnel capabilities, promote a strong EHS mindset and Zero Harm culture, and master communication across various platforms and hierarchies.

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power and Machines from a reputable university, with over 12 years of relevant experience in HV substations, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of various T&D assets.
  • Strong knowledge of transformer installation and commissioning, along with experience in value-added services such as control protection retrofits, upgrades, and modernization.
  • Effective in customer relationship management, project scheduling, and resource management to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to work in multinational and multicultural environments, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to engage successfully with diverse audiences.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and change management skills, capable of developing and implementing strategic plans.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic, with effective problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, along with proficiency in the MS Office suite.
