We are looking for a Hands-On Mechanical Technician who will join our multi-national and multi-skilled team of Field Service Engineers who support a large range of rotating equipment committed to an outstanding service and support to our customers worldwide.

Our Field Service Mechanics are responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspect, repair, assembly and troubleshooting of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Primary responsibility includes technical analysis of equipment operation as well as preparation and carry out the mechanical duties involved with disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and reassembly for Siemens Energy OEM and non-OEM compressors, and auxiliary equipment worldwide.
• Briefing and preparation for related jobs including compile spare parts' list/report
• Ability to complete, accurate, and timely rebuilds/overhauls on rotating equipment in the field in adverse conditions without supervision. All duties and responsibilities could include a large number of travels at short notice including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge and ability to respond and repair recurring problems and emergency services as needed independently and also to perform mechanical inspection using micrometers, pressure gauges, electronic diagnostic equipment and other specialty tools with little or mentorship.
• Eventually support and be a technical guidance for other colleagues on centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by following all safe work practices, policies, and processes and report all near misses and incidents.
• Handling subcontractors.
• Daily Site Report Preparation.
• On time Submission of Field Reports and associated documents after completion or site demobilizations.

What You Bring

• Minimum 3-5 Years of working experience on Centrifugal/ Reciprocating Compressors.
• Background in repair of other rotating equipment will be Valuable.
• Proven track record to optimally perform the assigned tasks with limited supervision and works well with others.
• Good English language skills both verbally and written is a minimum requirement
• Ability to interpret specifications, to read the P&ID and isometric drawings
• Flexibility to work worldwide including weekends and local holidays.
• Travel 80% Onshore and Offshore.
• Customer focus/orientation.
• Vocation to work in Field Service.
• Must hold valid Italian VISA, driver’s license and passport.
