A Snapshot of Your Day

The Automation Engineer will play a key technical role in the implementation of the automation project, covering 70% of the production lines in the factory. Working closely with the Project Manager, this professional will be responsible for technical topics throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful deployment and integration of automation solutions. Daily activities include:

  • Leading the technical evaluation, selection, and implementation of automation technologies, including software platforms, robotics, and system integration.
  • Collaborating with global teams, including headquarters in Germany and other factories worldwide, to ensure standardized technical solutions and knowledge sharing.
  • Managing technical negotiations with solution providers, focusing on requirements, integration, and performance.
  • Overseeing the integration of software, robotics, and control systems to achieve seamless operation across automated production lines.
  • Monitoring technical progress, analyzing performance metrics, and troubleshooting issues to optimize automation processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and industrial regulations during system implementation.

What You Bring

Hard Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of software platforms, robotics, and systems integration.
  • Proven experience in implementing automation systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Expertise in data analysis and performance metrics to monitor and optimize automation.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance in industrial settings.
  • Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, or alternatively Mechanical Engineering.
