A Snapshot of Your Day

You’ll work in a fast-paced, multicultural, and geographically diverse business environment, providing high-level executive support to the Head of Grid Technologies Services, Europe & Africa, and the Regional Finance Head.

Your day will involve managing complex calendars across European and African time zones, coordinating internal and external meetings, leadership sessions, business reviews, workshops, and customer visits. You’ll organise international travel, including itineraries, visa processes, logistics, and expenses.

You’ll prepare briefs, pre-reads agendas, and leadership documentation, ensuring clear follow-up on actions. You’ll also support the preparation of high-quality presentations, communication packages, and meeting materials, while tracking action plans, deadlines, and progress to help drive timely execution across multiple countries and functional teams.

Your aim to professionally develop in to a Chief of Staff role, fully supported by your leaders, is on track.

How You’ll Make an Impact

By enabling senior leaders to operate effectively across regions, functions, and cultures, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining clarity, alignment, and momentum within the organisation.

Your impact will include:

  • Supporting operational and strategic coordination across European and African teams
  • Ensuring structured communication and prioritisation within a matrixed organisation
  • Acting as a trusted liaison between leadership, teams, and key stakeholders
  • Drafting communications, meeting summaries, and stakeholder updates
  • Helping maintain leadership rhythm, governance frameworks, and organisation planning

As part of a clearly defined development pathway toward a future Chief of Staff role, your responsibilities will expand based on readiness and performance. This includes supporting strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and cross-regional programmes; contributing to the preparation of business insights, dashboards, and reports (in collaboration with Finance and other functions); and gradually representing leaders in selected forums, meetings, and working groups.

What You Bring

You bring experience in Executive Assistance, Business Support, Team Coordination, or similar roles, along with the motivation and adaptability needed to thrive in a complex, fast-moving environment.

You’ll be comfortable supporting senior leaders in a multinational context, working across multiple cultures, countries, and time zones, and handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Essential qualifications and skills include:

  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages beneficial)
  • High proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — confident, proactive, and adaptable
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through

Personal attributes that will set you apart:

  • Ambitious, curious, and motivated to grow into broader responsibilities
  • Independent yet collaborative, able to connect across teams and cultures
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Structured, reliable, solution-oriented, and professional
  • Positive, culturally aware presence

This role is intentionally designed to evolve into a more strategic capacity, offering development opportunities in strategic thinking, business insight, cross-functional leadership, programme coordination, and executive-level communication.
