A Snapshot of Your Day

You will play a key role in developing and maintaining high‑quality technical documentation for wind turbine SCADA systems and associated electrical infrastructure. Your work will simplify complex engineering information, enabling field engineers, technicians, and operations teams to install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment efficiently and safely. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure documentation is technically accurate, compliant with standards, and aligned with ongoing engineering changes.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation for SCADA systems and electrical infrastructure, including wiring diagrams, panel configurations, electrical overviews, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Create documents supporting electrical installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance with full adherence to engineering and safety standards.
  • Interpret electrical drawings—SLDs, loop diagrams, termination layouts—and translate them into structured and comprehensible content.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, SCADA teams, controls teams, and installation personnel to gather data, validate content, and ensure seamless alignment with engineering requirements.
  • Ensure documentation meets industry standards (IEC, NEC, etc.) and internal compliance expectations.
  • Develop and support creation of SOPs, training materials, and operational guides for SCADA and electrical systems.
  • Manage documentation version control and change‑control processes to maintain accuracy and traceability.
  • Convert STEP files into 2D and 3D models using Creo/UG (preferred) for inclusion in manuals and technical documents.
  • Contribute to continual improvement of document structure, clarity, and accessibility based on feedback from end users and engineering teams.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical documentation, technical writing, or engineering roles involving electrical or SCADA systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical control systems, SCADA architecture, power distribution, grounding, and panel configurations.
  • Ability to interpret and translate engineering drawings into clear technical content.
  • Experience working with documentation tools, version control systems, and engineering change management.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Creo or UG for generating 2D/3D engineering visuals (preferred).
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to simplify complex engineering concepts.
  • Experience in renewable energy, industrial automation, or similar technical environments is an advantage.

About the Team
You will join a collaborative and technically strong team focused on electrical systems, SCADA, converters, and related technologies. We emphasize teamwork, transparency, and shared learning as the foundation of delivering high‑quality results.
We operate in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with diverse engineering challenges, where open communication, mutual trust, and continuous improvement drive success. Mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn and grow—both individually and as a team.
