A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Electrical Engineer in the Energy Storage and Power Transmission team, you play a key role in ensuring the success and competitiveness of the NG13 platform. Your day combines electrical system design, technical leadership in supplier development and close coordination with internal and external stakeholders. You contribute directly to cost‑out initiatives by qualifying a second‑source battery supplier, while ensuring robust, reliable and fully integrated energy storage solutions that support our offshore wind turbine platforms. You will work closely with the NPD project, installation and service stakeholders to ensure that electrical solutions are fit for transportation, installation and offshore operation throughout the turbine lifecycle.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the technical development and qualification of a second‑source supplier for the battery system supporting the NG13 platform
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers, procurement, service and installation stakeholders to meet technical, quality and cost targets
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate performance, reliability and system integration
  • Drive cost‑out initiatives through technical analysis and optimization at component and system level
  • Contribute to project management activities by coordinating technical deliverables, timelines and documentation, ensuring clear stakeholder alignment

What You Bring

  • A strong background in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering or Installation Engineering, with experience from offshore or complex technical environments
  • Experience working in technical projects, including supplier qualification, cost‑reduction initiatives or design coordination
  • Solid skills in electrical system design
  • A structured and analytical approach to problem solving, quality assurance and technical investigations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and contribute in a project‑driven setup
