We currently have an exciting position for a young Engineer to join our Tool Depot team in our Klang Workshop supporting the regional Field Service Team. The responsibility of this position applies to one or more of Gas Service activities, which includes Tooling for Gas Turbines, Generators and Steam Turbines. In addition, selected Tooling Engineer is encouraged to work on improving and updating our Quality Management Programs and Digitalized Feedback approach.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Handle and Service Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Generator Electrical Special Tools
  • Establish new Tool Kits for our Service Fleet
  • Follow up with PCC’s for new Tool Kit establishment
  • Update of Tool Depot’s Process Procedures in line with ISO certification requirements (Electrical Tools)
  • Supervising Certification Data in TCTP for Electrical Tools in line with ISO certification requirements
  • Handle Quality of Tool Kit Inspection, Refurbishment Process and Reports, with focus on complete deliveries
  • Prepare Tooling Newsletters for Tool Depot Malaysia and training for other Asia Pacific Tooling facilities
  • Drive TCTP Data Quality Initiative

What You Bring

  • Electrical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, or equivalent background
  • Min 3-5 years’ work experience in a technical position or previous working experience in SESB
  • Min Chargeman BO certificate, preferred B4 certificate
  • Experience in Generator Diagnostics or HV Testing
  • Good Knowledge Electrical Safety and Certification
  • Detailed knowledge in MS Office applications
  • Working experience with Siemens Energy’s TCTP-system or other comparable ERP-system/database for tools management is a benefit
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written), Bahasa Malay and other language skill are beneficial
  • Independent and proactive individual with the ability to handle various complex tasks simultaneously

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
