About the role
This role involves harmonizing digitalization initiatives across automation, system rollouts, and process re-engineering. Leading the implementation of digital landscapes in all Transformer Service locations, as well as in Engineering and Field Service hubs, will be a key responsibility. You will drive the adoption of advanced technologies and build internal digital capabilities. The focus will be on delivering impactful and sustainable digital transformation that aligns with business goals.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the alignment and integration of digitalization initiatives across automation, system rollouts, customizations, and process re-engineering. Ensure consistency and synergy between projects to maximize operational efficiency and innovation.
- Spearhead the roll-out and implementation of the digital landscape within the Engineering Hub, establishing robust digital processes and tools that support engineering excellence.
- Oversee the deployment and continuous improvement of digital solutions in the FS Hub, ensuring seamless integration with broader organizational digital strategies.
- Develop and execute programs to upskill internal teams, fostering a culture of digital fluency and continuous improvement. Act as a mentor and resource for colleagues, enabling them to leverage digital tools and methodologies effectively.
- Work closely with engineering, IT, operations, and operational excellence teams to deliver scalable and sustainable digital transformation projects.
- Define KPIs, establish data pipelines, and implement dashboards to monitor and enhance the impact of digital initiatives across hubs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and promote a culture of innovation and excellence.
What You Bring
- Educational foundation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Proven experience: 5+ years in digital transformation, project management, or operational excellence, ideally within manufacturing, service, or engineering environments.
- Project leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to lead complex digitalization programs, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
- System rollout expertise: Hands‑on experience with ERP/MES or other enterprise platforms, including system adaptations/customizations based on business requirements.
- Process improvement mindset: Strong background in process mapping, re‑engineering, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Technical proficiency: Familiarity with data analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, Python, or low‑code platforms) and comfort working with dashboards, KPIs, and digital pipelines.
- Change management capability: Skilled in building digital literacy and capabilities across teams, including training, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
- Communication excellence: Strong interpersonal skills, able to translate technical concepts into business value and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Languages: Fluent in English, German is a plus.
- Mindset: Proactive, collaborative, and innovation‑driven, with a passion for harmonizing digital initiatives across hubs and functions.
