A Snapshot of Your Day

You will engage with a multidisciplinary team to deliver on the engineering requirements of a rotating equipment project.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • A strong desire to progress from panel build and assembly into design.
  • Convert detailed technical solutions into CAD models and derive the related drawings.
  • Prepare bills of material and other technical documents.
  • Support the specialist engineer on calculations or dimensioning based on suitable models.
  • Support the project team by creating suitable visualizations of solutions.
  • Support production in the assembly of equipment through drawings and work instructions.

What You Bring

  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED that can be verified; additional technical qualifications in a related field are preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years practical experience working with control panel assembly, cable tray installation, and package wiring. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
  • Able to interpret schematics, assembly drawings and bill of materials to build control panels.
  • Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and CSA (Canadian Standards Association).
  • Understanding hazardous area classifications and intrinsically safe circuits (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of grounding and bonding; basic understanding of process and instrumentation diagram

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Current Siemens Energy employees may be eligible for internal transfers.
