A Snapshot of Your Day 
As a Demand Planner supporting the Rotor Assembly manufacturing and service repair area within Siemens Energy's Gas Services business, you will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, material requirements planning (MRP), and SAP production order activities. You will collaborate daily with manufacturing supervisors, shop support teams, and business partners to ensure materials, tools, and resources are available to meet production demands. This role requires balancing production priorities, resolving SAP and material planning issues, monitoring capacity constraints, and driving schedule adherence to support customer commitments and operational objectives.
How You'll Make an Impact 
· Manage production order planning activities within SAP, ensuring materials are available, picked, confirmed, and staged to support manufacturing operations.
· Develop and maintain production schedules, capacity plans, and work center loading to optimize resource utilization and meet customer requirements.
· Analyze production performance and operational data, providing reports, metrics, and recommendations to support business and production objectives.
· Coordinate material requirements, logistics activities, and cross-functional communication to ensure timely movement of materials throughout the production process.
· Support non-conformance rework planning, bottleneck resolution efforts, and production schedule adjustments to minimize disruptions and improve throughput.
· Collaborate with supervisors and support organizations to resolve production issues, improve planning processes, and maintain alignment across departments.
What You Bring 
· Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent trade experience and demonstrated professional experience will also be considered. Bachelor's degree preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience in production scheduling, production control, industrial engineering, materials planning, line supervision, or a related operations environment.
· Strong SAP experience, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), production order management, and system issue resolution.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze data and generate operational reports.
· Effective communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple functions and priorities.
· Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
