Join us in a role where you lead the sourcing of mechanical and electrical erection works for large-scale international projects. You’ll dive into the dynamic world of conventional power plants and pioneering fields like hydrogen and renewable power generation. Your day will be filled with coordinating market investigations, setting up RfQ processes, and developing contract award strategies. You’ll be at the forefront of negotiations, using your skills to achieve best-in-class results, all while collaborating with engineering and project management to drive cost-out measures. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead sourcing for mechanical and electrical erection works on international projects, including conventional and renewable power generation.
- Coordinate market investigations to gather intelligence and set up RfQ processes, ensuring supplier onboarding and qualification.
- Develop contract award strategies that align with project goals, presenting Total Cost comparisons and implementing outcomes.
- Negotiate contracts using procurement levers like eANC and BATNA to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate on cost calculations and evaluate procurement risks and opportunities, supporting global supplier network development.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering, ideally combined with a commercial background.
- Long term experience in SCM functions, construction management, or project procurement within oil & gas or power generation.
- Ideally advanced knowledge of sourcing process; technical proficiency in piping, HRSG, and/or rotating equipment.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Proficiency in German and English; additional language skills are beneficial.
