Your day involves performing advanced commissioning, troubleshooting, and fact-finding tasks on gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators and their auxiliary systems. You’ll apply advanced skills to independently resolve complex issues beyond standard procedures, using critical thinking to successfully tackle high-impact, intricate, and cross-functional challenges.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Maintain effective communication with the Project Leader, Design departments, and customer representatives, ensuring all project activities comply with QA standards, project documentation, and health and safety requirements.
• Perform commissioning and fact-finding tasks on gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators at power stations worldwide, adhering to Siemens Standards.
• Execute work cost-effectively within allocated budgets and timelines by planning and optimizing resources for maximum productivity.
• Support sales and planning teams in preparing tenders, quotations, time schedules, and requirement lists.
• Participate in customer meetings, offering technical support during sales efforts and identifying potential delays while minimizing their impact.
• Bring over 2 years of engineering experience (preferably in Mechanical Engineering), with the potential to lead small teams. Power plant maintenance experience is a plus.

What You Bring

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with Project Leaders, Design departments, and customer representatives, ensuring compliance with QA standards, project documentation, and health and safety requirements.
• Proven technical expertise in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators, with a focus on cost-effective execution and resource optimization.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to lead small teams and manage tasks effectively.
• Willingness to work abroad and adapt to different environments as part of a global team.
• Flexibility to perform shift work and travel frequently to meet project requirements.
• A team player with strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to work.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
