A Snapshot of Your Day

Join Siemens Gamesa's Wind Power Offshore Service Aftermarket team as a Commercial Project Manager (f/m/d) and take ownership of the commercial and financial performance of complex service projects from start to finish. As a newly created role within the Cost and Performance Management team, you'll play a critical part in driving profitability and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your work spans three core areas: project planning and execution, commercial and financial management, and stakeholder and risk management, giving you a broad and high-impact scope. 


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop, manage, and control project budgets, conducting regular forecasting, cost estimation, and financial analysis to monitor profitability and ensure alignment with financial targets and business objectives.
  • Oversee project billing and invoicing to ensure timely, accurate revenue recognition, and prepare detailed financial status reports and performance analyses for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead end-to-end project planning and execution, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables while maintaining comprehensive documentation including schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.
  • Organize and lead project teams, assigning responsibilities and ensuring efficient resource allocation throughout the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
  • Act as the primary contact for all project communications, managing stakeholder expectations, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring proper change control procedures are followed.
 

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field, 
  • Several years of experience in a similar role in financial, commercial project management or controlling environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, with hands-on experience in financial management including invoicing and revenue recognition.
  • Strong project management skills across the full lifecycle, including scoping, scheduling, risk management, workflow management, and project documentation.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage complex projects independently at a senior professional level.
  • Very good Knowledge of MS Office; affinity with financial/ERP systems; SAP knowledge is a strong plus.
  • Excellent command of English; paired with proactive approach and strong stakeholder management skills
