The Commercial Project Manager (CPM) is an integral part of the Finance team for the Gas Services Central business organization. The Commercial Project Manager is working together with the Project Manager to implement and execute large Power Plant Projects typically ranging from $80M - $300M!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Work in collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure accurate project costs and pricing according to defined guidelines, while establishing and maintaining the financial framework for projects based on contractual agreements during execution.
  • Take full responsibility for all finance-related project topics, including Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign Exchange, and NCM, and ensure achievement of contract requirements such as performance guarantees, insurance, and taxes.
  • Oversee project financials, including monthly revenue recognition in compliance with guidelines, management of the cash flow/payment plan, and timely generation of customer invoices.
  • Perform financial planning, assess risks and opportunities for financial impact, mitigate risk, and optimize profit margins.
  • Prepare and present quarterly project review packages to executive management, and lead customer interactions for contractual topics or change order negotiations.
  • Support special assignments and collaborate with external auditors on audit topics as required.

    What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Business Administration/ Accounting or related field is required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Business Administration or in Finance, preferably with experience in Project Management; Candidates with more years of experience may be eligible for a higher-level position.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and Percentage of Completion (PoC) accounting, with advanced Microsoft Office skills; SAP experience highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and multi-tasking abilities, with the capability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% and obtain a passport as required.
