A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) at Siemens Gamesa, your day will be dynamic and engaging, overseeing the financial, contractual, and strategic aspects of assigned projects. You will coordinate with engineering, logistics, procurement, and construction teams, manage budgets and contracts, and drive change orders and claims. Engaging with stakeholders like clients and the management team, you will report progress and mitigate risks. This role demands strong financial acumen, contract management skills, and the ability to navigate diverse teams across different time zones. Working on large international projects, you will be part of a team that thrives on collaboration and innovation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and Develop the Project Team: Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to set clear goals, mentor team members, and nurture their professional growth and development.
- Drive Contract and Order Processes: Lead negotiations, oversee contract management and claims, and actively participate in the Change Management Authority to ensure smooth project execution.
- Optimize Project Finances: Deliver strong financial performance by accurately managing costs and pricing, while ensuring full compliance with SGRE guidelines and local regulations.
- Steer the Project Lifecycle: Play a key role in sales and project initiation, coordinate thorough risk assessments, and enforce rigorous adherence to internal controls throughout the project.
- Manage Customer Expectations: Proactively gather and align with customer requirements, build and maintain trusted relationships, and communicate any deviations transparently.
- Engage and Coordinate Stakeholders: Maintain clear and effective communication with all key stakeholders, support partner selection, and facilitate procurement and logistics operations.
- Ensure Compliance and Integrity: Lead by example to uphold Business Conduct Guidelines and guarantee adherence to tax regulations and export control standards across the project team.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years professional experience with a bachelor or master’s degree
- Proven experience in leading project teams and successfully managing customer expectations.
- A strong commitment to fostering a culture of trust, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Proficiency with SAP systems.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
