A Snapshot of Your Day


The Client Sales Manager is responsible for managing accounts within the assigned territory, ensuring client satisfaction with Siemens Energy Inc. (SEI) products and services. This role involves the development and execution of strategic plans to drive sales growth and enhance customer relationships.

This position would require most of the time being spent in Baton Rouge, LA.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Territory Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive annual Territory Plan that aligns with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Resource Management: Effectively manage and deploy selling resources within the territory to maximize sales potential and customer engagement.
  • Opportunity Management: Track and forecast sales opportunities while maintaining competitive awareness to adapt strategies as needed.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability for assigned customers, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Reporting and Communication: Conduct won/loss reporting and define/communicate client needs and market conditions to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience of sales/ engineering in rotating equipment industry with knowledge of turbo/reciprocating/steam applications. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and forecast sales opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel 50% in the territory of major accounts (Domestic only)
