As Chief Engineer – Electrical System, the role is central in ensuring that the right solutions are developed—both customer projects and in development projects.

You act as support to the order organization, assist engineers, and serve as a senior reviewer in technical matters. You are also an important contact point toward suppliers and internal functions such as purchasing.

How You’ll Make an Impact

·         Support the project team by sharing technical information and experience within the field.

• Act as senior reviewer for standard and order‑specific documents.
• Represent COE in design reviews, meetings, and other forums for technical decisions.
• Support updates of standard schedules, purchasing structures, and work related to NCC follow‑up.
• Contribute to improvements of processes, tools, and technical standards.
• Ensure that the standard design is correct, updated, and optimized from a technical and cost perspective.

• Represent the organization in design reviews and technical dialogues with suppliers.
• Plan the technical roadmap together with our technical interfaces to ensure efficient and predictable reviews.
• Drive technical cost‑ and inquiry‑related topics

What You Bring. 

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience and deep knowledge within order engineering and electrical system with focus on control cabinet design
• Gas Turbine Knowledge, preferably within our Medium Gas Turbine segment
• Knowledge of I/O, vibration monitoring and speed monitoring
• The ability to work in and support project teams with the right tools, processes, and technologies.
• Good understanding of technical documents, system descriptions, and design documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Comos is a must.

About the Team

The CEM team is one of four construction teams within electrical systems. Together with the other construction teams and the project lead engineer team you form the electrical systems department, delivering all electrical solutions for our customer projects. The electrical installation team consists of around 20 team members, including engineering support, located in Sweden, India and Romania.

We work together to find the best solutions and value everyone’s input. You will join a team where we have fun in our daily work but also come together to solve tough technical problems and questions.    

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
