This temporary Trainee position is an addition to the Bid Management team within the Sales Operations for Latin America, requested to ensure business continuity. The role is designed to provide foundational support for the proposal creation process and associated administrative tasks. To address this need, the role will concentrate on two primary areas: Proposal Development Support and Administrative Operations. This involves assisting with the compilation and formatting of bid documents, as well as maintaining the operational workflow of the bid management function through various administrative duties. Given the focus on these support functions, the ideal candidate will be a current student or recent graduate with strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Proficiency in standard office software and an interest in the business development lifecycle are essential for success in this entry-level position.
What You Need To Make a Difference
60% Proposal Development Support
- Assist in gathering, organizing, and consolidating documentation required for bid submissions.
- Support the formatting of proposal documents to ensure compliance with company templates and client requirements.
- Help track proposal milestones, deadlines, and deliverables under the guidance of Bid Managers.
- Perform basic data entry for cost sheets, commercial summaries, and other proposal-related spreadsheets.
40% Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain and update the bid management database, project files, and internal tracking systems.
- Assist with scheduling team meetings, preparing agendas, and distributing meeting minutes.
- Manage general administrative duties such as document printing, scanning, and archiving.
- Support the team with ad-hoc reporting, data collection, and presentation preparation.
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- No prior professional experience required; previous internship experience is considered a plus.
- Demonstrated interest in sales, business development, or the energy sector.
Requirements
- This is a temporary position with a duration of 1 year.
- Only candidates who are about to graduate or who have graduated within the last 12 months will be considered.
- Advanced conversational English is mandatory (the entire recruitment process will be conducted in English).
- Full-time availability is required.
- Availability to work in a hybrid scheme: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
