A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Cost & Risk Manager (f/m/d), your primary responsibility will be to test the new SAP S4Hana environment in support of long-term maintenance contracts. In the Program Business, you work within an international team to assemble service product components based on Service Marketing specifications, conduct technical clarifications, and calculate key project metrics such as EBIT, EVA, costs, and pricing with commercial support. You also support our Marketing and Sales Managers in customer negotiations and collaborate on customer‑specific solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Testing and validation of the new SAP S/4HANA environment to support long-term maintenance contracts 
  • Preparation of offer calculations for long-term maintenance and operations projects, including all service components 
  • Contribution to project strategy development, implementation activities, and consulting support 
  • Determination and analysis of key financial performance indicators such as EBIT and EVA for long-term and operations projects 
  • Technical clarification of major components including gas turbines, generators, and steam turbines, combined with technical, commercial, and contractual risk management 
  • Steering and monitoring of supplier processes, cross-functional alignment, and assumption of project-specific cost responsibility within approval processes, including contribution to new service products and commercialization initiatives
What You Bring
  • Completed university degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Initial experience in the power plant industry or service business, with knowledge of gas turbine technology as an advantage
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, especially Excel)
  • Skills in automation and digitalization of workflows and related programming languages/tools (e.g., PowerBI, Alteryx) are desirable
  • Business-fluent German and English; additional languages are a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, learning agility, teamwork, results orientation, customer focus, and communication skills

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and 
decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, 
steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, 
modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
