A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Bid Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in preparing technical and commercial service proposals that drive our projects forward. Collaborating closely with the Sales team and various departments, you will engage in meaningful projects that enhance our proposal processes and ensure compliance with company policies. Your work will not only support our clients and partners but also contribute to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering innovative energy solutions while fostering a culture of safety and professionalism.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Preparation of Technical and Commercial service proposals
  • Provide administrative, technical and commercial support to Sales team
  • Work to create and develop scope of proposals together with other departments and entities.
  • Request and receive pricing from affiliate vendors to support proposals
  • Engagement and collaboration with other departments and entities to handle orders
  • Participate in process improvement activities
  • To always represent the organization in a professional manner, both internally and externally
  • To follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures
  • To be an ambassador for the businesses and in particular to ensure that Health & Safety comes first at all times
What you Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience is similar role, preferably in the energy or oil & gas sector
  • Knowledge of Rotating Equipment
  • Working knowledge of sales cycles and processes
  • Knowledge of CRM Tool Salesforce.com (or other similar system)
  • Previous Experience with complex tender compilation/preparation
  • Strong Business Acumen and Commercial sense
  • Experience of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Access) is essential
  • Methodical with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to succeed
  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player
  • Effective communication skills
  • It is preferred to have experience of working in a Sales team
  • Experience in working with Sales calculations
About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet. ​
