How to contribute to our vision

This role is a replacement to ensure business continuity for the BA Sales function within the Siemens Energy Transformers factory in Guanajuato. As an Experienced Professional (P2), this position is crucial for supporting the sales lifecycle by bridging sales operations with financial oversight. To achieve this, the role is structured around two primary areas: Contract & Bid Management and Sales Financial Analysis & Reporting. This involves the end-to-end administration of proposals and contracts, from development and negotiation to ensuring financial viability and compliance, directly supporting the sales team and business objectives. Given the focus on proposal integrity and financial analysis, the ideal candidate will possess proven experience in contract administration, sales analysis, and negotiation. Proficiency in SAP and business intelligence tools is essential, along with a background in a complex industrial or manufacturing environment.

What You Need To Make a Difference

  • 60% Contract, Bid, and Proposal Management
    • Develop, prepare, and submit commercial proposals, bids, and contract documents in collaboration with sales, technical, and legal teams.
    • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with external customers to align with business objectives and mitigate risk.
    • Administer active contracts, including managing amendments for scope changes and ensuring all contractual obligations are met by all parties.
    • Analyze tender documents and customer requirements to structure competitive and compliant proposals.
    • Maintain and manage a repository of all contract and proposal documentation according to company policies.
  • 40% Sales Financial Analysis & Reporting
    • Perform financial analysis and cost estimation for proposals to ensure profitability and alignment with pricing strategies.
    • Generate and distribute regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM and BI tools.
    • Act as a liaison between the sales force and finance departments to resolve issues related to invoicing, pricing, and order processing.
    • Support the sales team in territory planning and account analysis by providing relevant data and insights.
    • Monitor business metrics and KPIs related to the sales and bidding process, identifying areas for process improvement.

Education

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in contract management, bid management, sales operations, or financial analysis, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing sector.
