A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Associate Project Manager, you will be part of the Service Organization looking after industrial turbines, generators and compressors at our customers base in The Netherlands. In collaboration with the Dutch team as well as the Global Centers of Competences, you will be responsible for running projects from bid to finalization. With the understanding of customer needs, you will generate customized proposals for services and coordinate the execution phase to a successful completion.

How You’ll Make an Impact

You support the quotation and execution process for projects. In the quotation phase:

  • Create good understanding of customer needs and defining the project scope
  • Communicate with and support respective factories
  • Handle of offerings for local content, if and when necessary
  • Generate quotations, including commercial (price, budget) and technical aspects
  • Support Sales and Project Management in securing orders
  • Ensure CRM records (opportunities) are up-to-date

In the execution phase:

  • Responsible for supporting in executing the projects within the committed timeline and budget, and keeping the organization and customer advised
  • Maintain good customer relations to ensure the smooth implementation of the assigned service contracts and projects
  • Identify and coordinate the appropriate resources needed for the project implementation, including subcontractors, temporary and permanent SE staff (local and overseas) and specialists
  • Communicate with and support respective Global Engineering and Manufacturing locations

What You Bring

  • 0 - 3 years project management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or combined Business and Engineering.
  • Knowledge or experience in rotating equipment will be an asset.
  • Very good command of English both written & spoken, Dutch is preferred and German and/or French will be preferable.
  • Broad commercial and contractual understanding to successfully interact with internal and external partners.
  • Analytical thinking, decision making, result oriented and good communication skills.
  • Flexibility, creativity and open-minded view
