As an Accounting Specialist in Cash & Banks, you will be an integral part of the operational accounting team within our global Competence Centre. Your role will significantly contribute to the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements. By managing global accounting processes and driving continuous improvement, harmonization, and digitalization of our cash management and payment processes, you will help ensure they are efficient and future-proof.

How you'll make a difference

• Oversee and monitor daily cash flow and bank transactions to ensure optimal liquidity management.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of bank accounts and cash balances.
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and HGB standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies and enhance cash flow management.
• Support the implementation and optimization of processes and tools in the area of Cash & Banks to improve efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to internal guidelines and external regulations related to cash management operations.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits, focusing on cash management and bank controls.

What You Bring

• Several years of professional experience in accounting, with a strong focus on Cash & Banks.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and cash management practices.
• Proficiency in working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, along with strong skills in MS Office.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting and cash balancing.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proficient written and spoken English and German skills.

We are a dedicated team specializing in cash and bank transactions and foreign currency accounting, particularly concerning financial instruments. We collaborate closely with project teams and other finance departments to ensure effective cash flow management and financial accuracy.
