Materials Solutions are looking to recruit project engineers to join the team here at MSL As part of the operations team at Materials Solutions, Worcester, in this role you will play an important part defining methods for our manufacturing process at our additive manufacturing business.



HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

-  Follow defined techniques, SOPs, work instructions and processes to ensure quality standards are achieved.

-  First point of contact for MSL ‘Part’ ownership.

Understand customer requirements for new projects and summarise to ensure flow down within MSL is understood.

-  Support completion of quotation packages to align customer requirements with work package.

-  Flow down of customer requirements from quotation to MSL project team. Understand customer requirements for new projects and summarise to ensure flow down within MSL is understood.

-  Structure creation, Part issue control and ownership of structure checklist.

-  Creation and maintenance of process flow diagrams, PFMEA and MQCP documents.

-  Gather required customer validation reports, validate and present to customer.

-  Uphold the adherence to health and safety requirements.

-  Support resolutions of daily production issues that arise and continuous improvement.

-  Ensure the quality requirements are met during AM manufacturing to internal and external customer requirements.

-  Utilize MRP system to create and maintain works order routings for manufactured products ensuring issue/version control.

-  Manage Engineering shopfloor data-cards/drawings.

-  Coordinate with other disciplines within Materials Solutions such as Sales, Operations, Quality and Procurement.

-  Manage engineering lessons learned and change control processes

-  Maintain team KPIs


WHAT YOU BRING: REQUIRED:

-  Self-motivated, organized, self-starter who shows initiative.

-  Engaging and able to work in a cross functional and global team.

-  Able to prioritize their workload to meet deadlines.

-  Able to work in a methodical way, with attention to detail, according to defined procedures.

-  Adaptable, flexible with a can-do attitude.

-  Demonstrable experience of task management, with the ability to multi-task & prioritize workload.

-  Previous experience in manufacturing setting.

-  Knowledge of SAP or similar MRP system. - Good knowledge of Microsoft packages; Outlook, Excel, Word - Proficient with MS packages and ERP systems. - Fluent in English Unrestricted - Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

-  The ability to thrive in a challenging environment.

-  Ability to work as part of a team and on an individual basis.
