A Snapshot of Your Day

As a key member of the Operations team, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, organization, and distribution of inventory within the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager ensures efficient storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods, ensuring that inventory is accurate, well organized, and delivered to the production as scheduled. This role involves coordinating with other departments such as production, procurement, shipping, and finance to optimize warehouse processes, support operational needs, and minimize costs.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage daily warehouse operations and staff activities.
  • Oversee inventory control, ensuring accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure timely and efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and products.
  • Develop and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to drive efficiency and compliance.
  • Monitor warehouse space and layout to maximize storage utilization and streamline material flow.
  • Maintain up-to-date reports and records on inventory status, warehouse performance, and issues.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, shipping, and finance teams to align warehouse activities with organizational goals.
  • Identify and resolve warehouse-related problems or discrepancies, including issues with stock, shipments, or deliveries.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the warehouse operates in accordance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, manufacturing or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven senior Lean experience with a track record of implementing lean methodologies to improve production processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems (such as SAP), and warehouse/inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety requirements, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Certification in Lean Management or related fields is a plus.
