A Snapshot of Your Day

Fulfill assigned tool orders to completion. The process entails assessing tool orders for accuracy and making corrections to the order as needed. Additionally, you’d coordinate with the various departments to have kits specified in your order ready by a designated date. The Tooling Coordinator would also stage all kits and supplementals by the staging date, so that the shipping department can load the order onto a truck. Lastly, resolving any shortages of kits or supplemental items will be important as project teams need tooling at certain times in their outage to maintain their schedule. You will likely have to communicate with multiple sites to transfer tooling as needed to enable them to meet schedule expectations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Have a customer service attitude – support the project team in meeting their tooling needs to maintain safety, quality and schedule.
• Looking ahead and being proactive to mitigate challenges with tooling preparation and tooling demand.
• Work together and communicate with other Tooling Coordinators to prevent double assignments of tool kits for project sites.
• Proactively seeking ways to improve the workflow of completing a tool order – standard methodologies.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma
• 2 years of experience in warehousing, forklift operations, and order picking.
• Effective communication skills VIA email and phone conversations with Project Leadership.
• Excellent organizational skills to meet scheduled shipment dates and to mitigate tooling shortages.
