A Snapshot of Your Day

This role includes Project Management of Technical Issues to resolve the most significant product (Generator, Gas Turbine, and Steam Turbine) issues resulting in non-conformance costs and major impacts to our customers according to the Product Integrity Process (PIP). The PIP process logically progresses through problem definition, root cause, solution generation, verification, implementation, and validation. Our Program Managers lead the resolution of issues using this process along with technical leadership from Engineering!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Program Management of scope, schedule, budget, and on-time-delivery of specific technical issue projects/tasks.
  • Conduct Risk Management and develop mitigations to minimize non-conformance costs and availability/reliability impacts.
  • Ensure programs comply with Product Integrity Process while driving the progress and completion of assigned programs.
  • Define and manage scope of issues to ensure successful completion. Develop schedule and budget risk mitigation plans, and control to program requirements. Participate in root cause analysis, solution development and verification.
  • Lead validation activities and facilitate fleet implementation of solutions. Coordinate with internal customers to ensure integrated solutions.
  • Interact with end users to understand the needs of external and internal customers. Collaborate with technical and commercial sides of the business and other departments such as new unit and service.

What You Bring

  • BS degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ Years of project engineering or system integration experience with the development of complex engineering systems in an R&D or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication in a team environment!
  • Technical knowledge and experience on Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and/or Generators.
  • Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
