A Snapshot of Your Day

As a member of the Supplier Quality Development team, your mission is to ensure a high-performing supply base in terms of quality, reliability, and safety. This is achieved through a balanced approach that emphasizes early involvement and professional supplier quality management, in close collaboration with procurement, multi-functional colleagues, and business partners.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Supplier Qualification – support on-boarding of new suppliers by performing supplier capability analysis and assessment of supplier risk, and MSA audit.

• Lead Product and Process Qualification of suppliers providing components/systems for SE GS Business Area.

• Supplier Development – initiate and implement supplier quality improvement measures.

• Plan & Implement Supplier Quality Assurance measures during entire supplier lifecycle (qualification + ongoing business) to secure the growth and ensure Supply Chain Resiliency.

• Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive measures at supplier for quality issues

• Utilize Risk Management Methodologies to avoid quality issues at supply base

• Support product development of new/revised components to ensure manufacture-ability & source-ability and provide technical evaluation of design changes as input to cost impact analysis

• Highlight opportunities for Innovation & Improvement – externally at supplier via technical developments / best practices / industry standards and internally via process improvements / optimization / digitalization

• Active member supporting Procurement and Business initiatives - Localization, Local 4 Global, Sourcing Strategy Development and Sustainability

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in engineering related major. 

• 3 years of above experience as quality engineer, manufacturing engineer or design engineer required. Practical manufacturing experience with machining and sheet metal preferred. Experience with special process as plus.

• Working experience in technical functions in the Energy, Oil & Gas or related industry - preferred. Project Management Experience preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Initiative, results oriented and strong analytical thinking. Experience working in a global environment.

• Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality & risk management methodologies.
