You will be working with a cross functional team to deliver commodity strategies, lead sourcing projects to achieve Total cost reduction and deliver a weatherproof supply chain.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead sourcing actives and negotiations for medium / high value aerospace and industrial type components to optimize cost opportunities and contract coverage and undertake major contractual and price negotiations with exiting key suppliers.
• To develop and deploy tailored supply chain strategies for the business unit driving long-term improvements in Quality, Cost and Delivery performance.
• Support internal Procurement transformation programs.
• Collaborate with global Supply Chain Management, senior collaborators, and other Procurement organizations globally for sourcing recommendations at BU and Siemens Energy Global Sourcing Board levels.
• Report on plans, activities and results for direct and functional managers.
• Ensure close partnership with Internal Customers to ensure customer care and early involvement.
• Foster usage of eProcurement tools with the vision to grow standard catalogue coverage for major equipment.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Procurement, Business, or Engineering. CPM/CPSM qualified/preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing/commodity management.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and collaborator coordination abilities.
• Excellent commercial, contractual, and project management foresight!
• Familiarity with component Manufacturing processes and Quality. Knowledge of working with a global supplier base, in a matrix environment.
• Ability to work in a complex, fast-changing global organizational environment!
