A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for another member to join our current local / global software developer team. In this position you will be involved in driving the digitalization and automatization of Engineering tools and processes. Your job should be conducted by 60 % of coordination tasks and 40 % of programming.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Analyze and digitalize processes and interfaces, coordination and collaboration across locations and functions, testing new features and versions
  • Management of Java-based application development projects throughout the entire development lifecycle, i.e. evaluation and analysis of requirements, solution implementation and documentation of corrective changes, tracking of bugs and management of all necessary program adaptations
  • Technical clarification of interfaces to other solutions, projects or sub-projects
  • Analyzes, suggests, agrees and realizes interface adaptions involving relevant system admins/ -responsible as well as relevant interface partners
  • Working with bulk data creation and editing tools (Team Center), including active support for end users
  • Providing minor admin interventions
  • Creating error and change reports + actively communicating with central Globus support in Germany

What You Bring

  • University degree in computer science or proven experience in primarily in Java/Java FX, eventeuelly C# or comparable
  • Coordination and project management skills
  • Awareness of software architecture, design and quality assurance in software projects
  • Knowledge of IS Teamcenter/SAP (Globus/Atlas)
  • Communicative knowledge of English and Czech (German is advantage)
  • Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and having group B driving license
