A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Service Operations Planner at Siemens Energy, you will support onshore wind farm projects throughout their entire lifecycle, with a strong focus on operational planning activities. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and controlling structured and efficient service plans in line with company standards, project requirements, and customer expectations. This role is key to ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery by coordinating resources, maintenance activities, materials, and stakeholders across multiple projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, scheduled, and unscheduled service activities, balancing site capacity, workload, and internal/external resources (manpower, tools, and spare parts) in alignment with key stakeholders
- Track and control the execution of scheduled service activities, including short- and long-term dispatching within contract scope
- Ensure transparency for project teams through agreed reporting structures and regular planning meetings
- Maintain a clear overview of stopped wind turbines, providing up-to-date turbine status visibility to Project Management
- Create and maintain Maintenance Plans in SAP SRP and monitor Service Order execution in collaboration with site teams
- Coordinate materials, spare parts, tools and warehouse activities to ensure timely availability for maintenance and service execution
- Create and manage Service Orders (SO) in SAP SRP, dispatching them via Capacity Planning and Scheduling (CPS) tools, while supporting site teams in the use of FSM (Field Service Management) systems and account management
- Act as a key user for planning-related IT tools, supporting technicians and managing permit-to-work processes
- Monitor weather forecasts and lightning conditions, update MORS, and communicate weekly service plans to customers
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of experience in operations planning or a similar role, including at least 1 year in maintenance planning or a related technical field
· Ability to learn quickly and absorb technical and operational knowledge
· Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English
· Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
· Strong interest in renewable energy and motivation to contribute to the energy transition
· Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Power BI, SQL, and SAP is a strong advantage
· Experience with MRS (SAP SRP), Primavera P6, or other service scheduling tools is highly valued
· Valid Class B driving license
· Excellent coordination skills, negotiation ability, and a customer-oriented mindset
