A Snapshot of Your Day
SCM Specialist role is focusing on Establishing, monitoring, and benchmarking metrics, and deriving and proposing measures to improve Supply Chain Management.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Reports to the Head of SCM in GT APAC region, local Head of Finance and GT Head PH.
- Responsible for shipment coordination, customs releasing and delivery to Site.
- Take projects from inception to completion within the SCM group across all areas of the business including roll outs of new processes and procedures, with achieve strong benefits through improvements which may include cost reductions.
- Work across all areas of the end-to-end supply chain including direct, indirect, logistics and purchase -to-pay areas of the business.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Critically analyses processes and procedures with a view to align with global policies/procedures.
- Conduct reviews of supplier performance across the entire business implementing appropriate critical metrics and reporting against this framework.
- Handling supplier data in the various supplier management tools.
- Perform management of supply chain governance topics.
- Setting and developing supplier strategy for commodities assigned
- Supplier quality management – supply to quality management of suppliers including EHS.
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in SCM roles within a multi-national organisation
- Degree or equivalent experience qualified in engineering and/or business.
- Formal supply chain qualifications (eg CIPSA) well regarded.
- SAP Knowledge
- Contract law experience/capability
- Procurement category management in direct materials
