A Snapshot of Your Day

As a PMO - Quality Process (Engineer) in the Operational Excellence Team, reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence:

You will be responsible for the Business Management System processes and setting the process framework. You will analyse data and conduct process audits to identify trends and areas for improvement. You will collaborate with other functional areas in the business to address quality issues, update documentation, and provide training on quality standards. You will focus on problem-solving, working on long-term projects to enhance process efficiency to reduce process non-conformance, and prepare reports for management. You will also ensure continuous improvement and high standards of quality throughout the organisation.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Working closely with the Head of Operational Excellence to identify the future needs of the business unit with respect to the digital infrastructure landscape especially in Project Management.
  • Developing and implementing the business digital system and process roadmap.
  • Design and develop strategic plans, programs and measures on business level, and align with related strategies and plans, in support of the senior management team.
  • Implementing and supporting a robust change management process
  • Develop specific strategic investment plans into cases and where required Capital Approval submissions
  • Act as a trusted advisor for Senior Leadership Team, in all strategic digital aspects, in order to identify and follow up on future business opportunities.
  • Ensure development of business plans and effective controlling of the target setting processes, critical metrics, and quarterly reviews.
  • Promote continuous improvement
  • Risk management to ensure business continuity

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an operational role, preferably in grid technologies.
  • Proven understanding of lean methodologies and operational excellence principles.
  • Excellent change management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate operational processes are being used.
  • A strategic problem solver with a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong commitment to providing superior service to customers and driving business results.
  • Customer orientation and quality awareness.
  • Affinity and first experience with low-code tools and programming languages desirable (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI)

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
