A Snapshot of Your Day

The Quality Manager will serve as a pivotal member of our EQS team. They will oversee key initiatives to maintain world class quality assurance. They will talk to all cross-functional departments as well as our customers to maintain a high level of quality. They will focus on driving a culture of quality throughout the organization, ensuring compliance, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

How You will Make an Impact

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the ISO quality management systems. Lead the internal quality team
  • Develop, mentor, and lead the quality team to foster a quality culture. Drive cross functional collaboration across the organization. Understanding customer specification quality requirements and expectations. Set-up and maintain quality control processes according to required standards
  • Regular management system audits and process change implementation stability checks. Set up effective monitoring systems to ensure specifications are met
  • Ensure transactional customer surveys are conducted at completion of each project.
  • Gathering data to provide internal statistical reports for resolution of non-conformances, and any associated non-conformance cost for upper management. Supporting productivity initiatives, and production efficiency to help eliminate waste
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the project team by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains. Facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Coordinate annual management reviews, proposing new KPIs, in line with organization’s Quality Policy.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality management
  • Lead auditor certification for ISO 9001. ISO 14001 and 45001 would be an asset.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role and preferably in a relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of power transformers and high voltage equipment preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into actionable quality requirements.
