Project Supplier Quality Manager for Product Quality

Join our dynamic team as a Project Supplier Quality Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of supplier quality for our projects! You will coordinate all supplier quality activities, working closely with the Project Quality Manager to establish comprehensive supplier quality plans and conduct risk assessments alongside engineering and purchasing teams. Imagine being at the forefront of quality assurance, making a significant impact on our projects while engaging in limited international travel!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Act as the primary interface between suppliers and project teams, fostering strong relationships to enhance quality outcomes.
- Establish and implement supplier oversight plans to optimally mitigate project risks.
- Assess supplier capabilities to meet specific project requirements, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Schedule and coordinate witness dates with suppliers, facilitating critical inspection points for both customers and Siemens Energy.
- Collect, review, and validate supplier quality documentation, including declarations, inspection and test plans, and certificates.
- Conduct pre-inspection meetings with suppliers, ensuring all parties are aligned on quality expectations and requirements.
What You Bring
- You are proficient in English, both spoken and written, with knowledge of Swedish being highly desirable.
- A background in design, manufacture, or operation of rotating machinery, boilers, or the process industry is a valuable asset.
- Experience with CE-marking, SS-EN 1090, ISO 3834, EU LVD, or similar standards is a plus.
- You possess a structured and collaborative approach, thriving in team environments and driving projects forward.
- Previous experience in product quality and a solid understanding of project processes will set you apart.

Our Project Supplier Quality Management (PSQM) team is an encouraging and open-minded group of 10 professionals, eager to expand by adding 3-4 more dedicated colleagues. We pride ourselves on our collaborative spirit, standing up for each other while tackling challenges together. As part of our team, you will contribute to a dynamic environment that values innovation and quality, making a real difference in our projects.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
