A Snapshot of Your Day:

As a Project Planner at Siemens Energy, you will target candidates with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, particularly those with experience in the power generation industry. You will engage in meaningful projects that involve developing and managing outage plans for gas and steam turbines, directly impacting the efficiency and safety of maintenance activities. Your work will foster a culture of safety and collaboration, enhancing team dynamics and contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Foster a zero-harm safety culture and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop comprehensive outage plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Project Managers, and Field Service teams to align on outage requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed schedules to minimize downtime and address unforeseen issues.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies for outages.
  • Monitor outage progress and facilitate communication for continuous improvement.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or project management in the power generation industry.
  • Experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English, along with MS Office and Power BI skills.

About the Team:

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
